JIMMY

Jimmy began his career as an oysterman at the age of 5, when he first began harvesting oysters from the natural beds at the end of his street using his Mega Haul wagon to sell to his father, Norm.  It was not long after that he began running his own boat complete with his own crew, giving him the nickname “Oyster Boy” by the local newspaper.  When he came of age, Jimmy became the captain of The Grace, the same boat his father, Norm, and his Grandfather, Norm, Sr., had captained.

Jimmy is the principal harvester of oysters for Norm Bloom and Son and manages the day-to-day farming operations for the company.

In his spare time, Jimmy is grooming the next generation of oystermen in the family – his son, Jack.
